Hoole Food Market
Learn how we helped create more brand awarness for Hoole Food Market with a series of videos and photos.

Project Context
Hoole Food Market needed a series of videos to explain more about what they do, the services they offer, as well as a series of photos they could use to update their website, including product photos, corporate headshots as well as general business photos of the shop and the day-to-day activities for future use.
Pre-production and Planning
Firstly, we arranged a consulation in order to fully understand what the project needed, what the deliverables would be, and what success would look like, as we do with every project we undertake here.
Luckily, as Hoole Food Market is a Chester based business really nearby to us, we were able to setup a meeting to run through everything beforehand. One of the first problems we discovered was the fact that Hoole Food Market is an incredibly busy and dynamic business, that required us to work fast, and capture videos and photos whilst allowing staff to continue working without interruption.
After the meeting, we created a full shot list for everything that needed to be captured, as well as a shooting schedule that would fit around Hoole Food Market's most quiet days in order to create the least distruption possible. We also created a series of interview questions that would help us create the best content possible for the series of videos. Both of these documents were shared with Hoole Food Market so that they could input particular shots they wanted to include, as well as making sure the interview questions made sense for everything that needed to be covered in the videos.

Having a shotlist proved invaluable for the fast-paced enviroment of Hoole Food Market!

Having a series of interview questions helped shaped the different types of videos we were creating.
Capturing the Content
The key to moving quickly and dynamically in order to cause the least disruption to business for Hoole Food Market came in the planning. We initally decided on 3 days of shooting to maximise the coverage we could provide.
Day One
The first day concentrated on the very early morning starts that Hoole Food Market go through, setting off from Chester and collecting the produce from Liverpool Market, followed by the setup in the shop once the goods have been gathered. We also used this opportunity to capture some of the interactions with customers as the shop was opening as well. We also completed the first set of photos here, as well as the first set of Headshots of the team!
Day Two
The second day would focused on the delivery side of Hoole Food Market, with us going out in the van on deliveries with the team. As Hoole Food Market delivers to a wide range of local businesses as well as customers in the area, we manged to grab some testimonial content for use for more B2B sales, as well as capturing what happens with a customer delivery.
Day Three
Day three mostly concerntrated on the end of day proceedures for Hoole Food Market, including their 'too good to go' scheme which we felt a really important of the overall story. As the shops tends to be quieter towards the end of the day, we also felt this was the best time to capture the interview footage with the owners, Leann and Jason, although we still had customers around us as we were talking. However, this did not detract from the finished videos, as having customer (and staff!) in the background of the video helped to bring together the community feel we were going for, as well as making the whole process feel less informal, putting the interviewees at as ease as well! Final team headshots were also captured at this point as well, aside from one staff member who we had to return to capture at a later date due to illness!
Post Production and Editing
Post production involved a fair amount of editing work as we captured well over 130gb worth of footage over the shooting period!
We also had to create some graphic content such as titles and lower third titles as this is something that Hoole Food Market didn't have previously to our work together. This was no problem for us though - this is something we offer as standard for all of our production packages!
Alongside the video footage, we also delivered around 100 photos that we shot alongside the video, including product photos, general photos of the shop and headshots of the team.
The Results
The videos have been well received by Hoole Food Market's customers on both Facebook and Instagram, and the videos are to be added to the website shorly. We'll leave you with the kind words from Leann and Jason:
"We’re actually crying. Thank you so much. It’s such a lovely video. Thank you so, so much. We absolutely lovely it!!"
