We created a series of horizontal and vertical videos for Singer Social.
Project Context
Through Saxophonique, Franchesqua from the Singer Social got in touch with us about covering their Singer Social Event at the Namploy Thai Restaraunt. We decided the best way to showcase the event was with highlight videos, shot for horizontal and vertical formats for distrubition and release on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Pre-production and Planning
As this was a dynamic event, there wasn't a huge amount of planning we could do beforehand. We wrote a list of ideas to capture but it was more about capturing the feel and vibes from the event as they happened before us!

Capturing the Content
We arrived early on the day of the shoot to get setup and sorted as quickly as possible. We knew we wanted to include shots of people arriving for the event, so it was definitely worth it as there was a few other early people! A lot of the shots as previously mentioned were fast paced - more about documenting what was happening at the event as it happened! We made sure to plan our shots to work for both horizontal and vertical formats as this would be really beneficial for editing later on!
We captured some of the speakers at the event as well which was beneficial for audio later on. There was also a performance from Elements Girl Band which was ace to capture as well!
Post Production and Editing
The post-production process was mostly about finding the best moments from the event, and putting together a narrative with the shots we captured. This was easy to do as it was such a fun event, involving good food, great talks, music and laughter! Cutting the footage down to be under the minute mark for vertical videos proved the most difficult bit, as there were so many great moments to include!
The Results
The videos have been well received on social media, getting well over 4000 views, smashing the target of 1000! The video also reached 2,504 new accounts which gave the Singer Social and Elements Girl Band some new followers as well.
